Today I found a photo of a copy of a letter from Andrew Carnegie to William Brett on Flickr. William was the Librarian of the Cleveland Public Library from 1884 – 1918.
Then on the Internet Archives are two monographs, one authored by William H. Brett, “Libraries and the Great War,” and the other about his life, “The Open Shelf – Memorial Number” .
