Megan and I fly to Naples tomorrow for Saturday’s Celebration Memorial of Dad’s life. I pray that it will indeed be a joyful celebration and a praying for it to be such. No black ribbons we will all wear GOLD to symbolize the value of his life to his family and to every Woman, Man and Child he met. Gold ribbon I was told by a friends that encompassed all colors of all the many diseases and mistreatment humans are subjected to. Gold is a color of joy, worth, and the multitude of wonderful values that my Father brought to this world.

Even if you are not in Naple, FL on Saturday for this Celebration if you wea r or see Gold — cheep or expensive — please say “Thank You” to which ever Supreme Being(s) you worship for sharing Lt. General Devol “Rock” Brett with us.
